There are a lot of rich, colorful people out there with expensive homes. So it stands to reason that there are also a lot of rich, colorful amenities as well. Take the underground garage of a $49.9 million property in Incline Village, Nev., that can fit nine buses; or try the blinged-out nightclub in a $9.9 million Connecticut house that belongs to, you guessed it, 50 Cent. With enough dough and enough personality, this kind of thing is bound to happen.

But one particular home convenience recently reported by the New York Post may have just set a new standard in the way of amenities. The Post reports that a New York townhouse offers its very own operating room (pictured above), where its surgeon in residence (no pun intended) has reshaped bodies for nearly 20 years.

If a silicone samurai (who happens to be a homebody) steps up to the plate, renovations of what The Post describes as a $19.9 million fixer-upper might not go further than makeovers of the home's bathrooms and stairs. But as the home's real estate agent Tim Desmond admits, that's a long shot. Finding such a buyer is "like finding a needle in a haystack," he told The Post.
