What's your home worth? Not as much as President Barack Obama's. The commander-in-chief lives in the most valuable home in America: the White House. And if it were for sale today, you'd need nearly $300 million to snag it.
The value of the White House has surged 7 percent over the course of Obama's first term, climbing from $275.6 million in January 2009 to $294.9 million today, according to Zillow. (So Obama has been good for the housing market?) Zillow used its proprietary Zestimate algorithm, which determines home values based on public data and recent home sales in the area, to name the price of the White House. Of course, the most famous address in the U.S. (1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington, D.C.) is not for sale, but if it were, just imagine what you'd get for the money.

Measuring 55,000 square feet, the presidential home is a wonder: It has 132 rooms, 16 bedrooms, 35 bathrooms and three kitchens -- all perched on 18 acres of gorgeous land smack in the middle of downtown D.C. (Zillow admits that it can't vouch for whether a personal team of armed Secret Service agents would come with the deal, though.)
How does the value of your home stack up against the White House? In the third quarter of 2012, the national median price of an existing single-family home was $186,100, according to the National Association of Realtors. Ouch, that's gotta hurt.
